Dedalo participates in Lifelong Learning Programme Conference

Last 27-28 May a Follow-up Conference was held in Madrid for projects within the Lifelong Learning Programme. The event brought together 90 Comenius and Grundtvig project promoters from all around Spain.

During the Follow-up Conference guidelines were given for good project management, including what requirements need to be met and how to elaborate financial and technical justifications.

Fundación Dédalo attended the event in the capacity of partner to the Grundtvig initiative, and participated actively in the workshops and group dynamics, whose conclusions gave shape to a series of recommendations for good project management standards.

The Conference was the perfect setting to exchange experiences and to establish contacts with other national projects and institutions, which will no doubt lead to new opportunities for participation in forthcoming projects.

The Knowbrid Project

‘Knowbrid: Bridging the generation  gap’ is an initiative which Fundacion Dedalo is a partner to. The objective of the initiative is to provide tools for elder people to fight social exclusion through the access and training in Information and Communication Technologies.

Knowbrid is a project within the Lifelong Learning Programme of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, and is co-financed by the European Union.

For two years, the partners (Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey and Spain) will develop a training pathway that will lead to a pilot action under which a group of young people will train elderly people in the use of these Technologies.
